The story begins in 1997 with 2 cousins, Nicolas and Frédéric Rozé, passionate by horse-riding and specially by Polo.

After doing many jobs in link with horses (groom, stable manager, polo player), they decide to learn the traditional saddlery craft.

In 1999, they create the company based in Vitre- Brittany- France in a farm called “La Ferronniere”, the brand name is found, Laferro Sellier.

Laferro Sellier become quickly a reference in top quality saddlery and harness making.

Nicolas and Frederic have another passion: Music !

Nicolas is playing accordion in a Celtic music band and Frederic is a big consumer of live Rock music….

A lot of friends playing guitar were coming in the Laferro workshop and asked for a handcraft guitar strap, the idea to create a full range of leather guitar straps was born !

The first Laferro Sellier Guitar Straps range is developed in 2006 after consulting many professional musicians.

The traditional saddlery methods and materials used give to this range an unrivalled looking and is now really appreciated by a lot of guitar players !
