LEONARDO is TECHRA's new boutique amplifier.
With its 100-Watt power, it is the "big brother" of the 60W Pronote. LEONARDO has the same heart as the Pronote, the “Dyna Solid Tube” circuitry, designed, further developed and enhanced by Techra to obtain a more aggressive and richer sound. The main features of the “Dyna Solid Tube”, the extremely fast attack time, the superbly dynamic sound and timbral exaltation of your instrument's pick-ups have all been maintained and further enhanced in LEONARDO to improve the performance especially of those music genres requiring a more modern sound like Rock and Blues. One of the features already offered by the Pronote and which LEONARDO could not miss is the amplifier's clean sound quality to allow any guitar to faithfully express its timbral features without being contaminated by the amplifier. Of course, LEONARDO's extraordinary features will allow you to make the most of your guitar without any risk of conditioning it. |

The Dyna Solid Tube is inserted in the pre-amp and it uses 3 12AX7 tubes.
The power output section uses a 12AT7 tube plus 4 6L6GC tubes. All of the tubes are accurately selected and tested according to TECHRA standards. The output transformer is over-powered to provide longer life and excellent sound quality. LEONARDO was designed to maintain timbral quality even at low volumes. Even with 100 Watts of power, you can achieve top sound performance already at level 5 of the Master volume. |

LEONARDO has 2 completely independent channels, each equipped with GAIN control, FAT selector, equalizer, volume and boost. This control can be activated using the pedal pad.
The 2 boosts - one on the Rhythm channel and the other on the Lead channel - offer 4 different and easy-to-use sound combinations. Like all of the best amplifiers, it has a hybrid construction: it includes a series of top-quality hand-wired electronic circuits designed to ensure longer life while maintaining a high level of performance in the course of time. All of the circuits are hand-wired: all of the welding is done by hand by highly specialized personnel. This ensures top quality, avoids oxidation and minimizes maintenance. Der PDI06 ist ein Power-Attenuator für den Live-Einsatz. Das Attenuator wird zwischen Verstärkerausgang und Lautsprecherbox geschaltet. Endlich kann die natürliche Röhrenübersteuerung, unabhängig auf die Ausgangslautstärke, genutzt werden. Die Lautstärke kann praxisgerecht für Bühnen- und Proberaumverhältnisse in 6 Stufen von 100% auf 18% reduziert werden. Eine weitere Stufe schaltet den Lautsprecher komplett stumm, die PDI06 arbeitet dann als LOAD-BOX und nimmt die komplette Leistung auf, die der Verstärker liefert.
Diese Betriebsart ist sinnvoll, wenn man z.B. über einen vorhandenen Line-Ausgang des Verstärkers, der über eine Lautsprecher-Emulation verfügt, direkt ins Mischpult spielen will und Lautstärke im Aufnahmeraum unerwünscht ist. Das Gerät besitzt einen Eingang für das Lautsprechersignal vom Verstärker und zwei Ausgänge zum Anschluss von Lautsprecherboxen.
Die Gesamtimpedanz der Lautsprecher muss dem auf der PDI06 angegebenen Wert entsprechen. Beispiel: ein PDI06, der für 8 Ohm spezifiziert ist, kann an die Ausgänge einer 8 Ohm Box oder zwei 16 Ohm Boxen verbunden werden. Der Ausgang des (Röhren-) Verstärkers wird ebenfalls auf 8 Ohm eingestellt.

Der Piccolo 600 kommt aus der preisgekrönten UL Serie, welche für viel Power, durchsetzungsfähigen Sound und wenig Gewicht steht.

Egal ob zu Hause, im Proberaum oder auf der grössten Bühne, der Piccolo 600 in Kombination mit einer Epifani Box z.B. aus der UL Serie, versteht es, seine Power optimal einzusetzen.
Wer jetzt denkt, Class-D Amps klingen zu kalt, sollte diesen um so mehr testen. Der "Vintage" Knopf gedrückt und der Amp wird sofort wärmer und erhält den "Tube-Like" Touch der `60er.
Wie unschwer an den wenigen Potis zu erkennen ist, setzt Epifani beim Piccolo 600 auf einfachen, direkten Sound, ohne den natürlichen Klang des Basses unnötig zu verfälschen. Treu gibt der Piccolo jede noch so feine Nuance wieder, was ein sehr dynamisches spielen zulässt.
Jetzt kommt das Beste zum schluss: Der Amp von dem wir hier sprechen ist keine 15kg schwer. Der Piccolo bietet volle 600 Watt RMS bei gerade mal 2kg Eigengewicht!

Der UL 501 ist für jene Bassisten geeignet, die Qualität, Leistung und Transportfähigkeit suchen. Der 501er ist ein Hybrid-Amp mit einer Class A/B Endstufe und einem Switch-Mode-Netzteil. Der Amp liefert selbst bei 850 Watt einen immer noch sauber klingenden Sound, was man sonst nur von grossen und schweren Amps erwarten darf. Für jene, die öfters auf Reisen sind, hat Epifani ein PFC (Power Factor Control) eingebaut, das sich den unterschiedlichen Volt-Stärken selbst anpasst und somit überall auf der Welt zum Einsatz kommen kann.
Der UL 501 besticht durch seinen nur wenig färbenden, cleanen Klang. Das heisst man hört sein Instrument so, wie es eigentlich klingen sollte, nur halt lauter. Dank der schnellen und präzisen Ansprache eignet sich der UL 501 nicht nur für 4-saiter-Bässe, sondern hält auch locker mit aktiven 5- und 6-saitigen Bässen mit.
